The Program Coordinator for Specialty Master’s and Working Professional Career Services is an integral position within the Specialty Master’s Program and the CMC team.  This position works closely with the departments’ leadership to realize their respective goals.  In this capacity, the Program Coordinator assists with delivering a comprehensive program of workshops, counseling, recruiting, and other services that prepares the MMS/MQM/Working Professional students and Fuqua alumni to succeed in the job market.  The incumbent also assists in working to build our specialty Master’s and Working Professional program brands in the employment marketplace. The Sector Manager (Career Specialist) partners with the Sector Directors in the Career Management Center to plan and facilitate engagement opportunities between employers and students within assigned industry sectors. Responsibilities include maintaining day-to-day employer relationships and supporting new business development. He/she also may advise both sets of stakeholders on recruiting and industry trends of the sector. This position is an integral part of Fuqua’s Career Management Center (CMC) and reports to the Director of Employer Engagement and Operations. At this time, we are seeking a candidate to work with the Sector Director for Finance, and the Sector Director for Social Impact/Sustainability.  Bachelor’s degree required with three years of professional work experience, preferably in career services, recruiting, or customer service.  Candidates must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively and build relationships with a range of constituents including graduate students, business leaders, employers, alumni, faculty, and staff at all levels.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter willing to take initiative, think outside of the box, seek guidance when needed, and see projects through to completion independently. The Marketing Communications Associate is a member of a team that engages in strategic marketing for The Fuqua School of Business. This position is responsible for producing a wide range of writing and editorial marketing projects while working closely with a team of designers, subject matter experts, production managers and web developers. This position reports to the Director of Marketing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to writing and editing compelling marketing content for websites, advertisements, emails, direct mail, email, landing pages, newsletters, brochures, white papers, case studies, and other marketing campaigns/collateral; participating in the campaign development process from concept to execution; and creating and administering content management and project communications plans. This position works closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure that expectations are met on a per project basis in terms of content, quality, and turnaround time. Creativity and attention to accuracy and detail are essential for success in this position. Associate Director for MMS Career Services

The Associate Director provides leadership and assumes responsibility for career services provided to Duke Master of Management Science (MMS) students. Sector Director for Energy and General Management

The Sector Director for Energy and General Management is a senior staff position in the Fuqua Career Management Center and reports to the Daytime Director for Career Management. The incumbent works closely with a variety of constituents to envision, build, and strengthen career support broadly within the Fuqua student population, and specifically within the Energy and General Management sector.  The incumbent serves as the primary owner and strategist towards the dual objectives of student support and employer relationship development.  To capitalize on the full value of the incumbent’s activities, the role requires proactive communication and significant collaboration within the entire CMC team and across student groups and populations; a variety of Fuqua departments; other areas of the Duke community; and corporate recruiters and alumni.  Graduate degree strongly preferred, especially an MBA, Master of Counseling, or other relevant discipline. A minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in in the energy industry, MBA career coaching, or related fields.  Extensive interaction with alumni, students and corporate recruiters is integral to the position, so a strong portfolio of communication skills, including presentation and advocacy, are essential. Director of Community Engagement and Advancement

The Director of Community Engagement and Advancement reports to the Dean at the Fuqua School of Business and is responsible for working collaboratively with the leadership team across all programs and with key partners across the school, the university, and externally.  The role includes working closely with the Admissions area on recruiting as well as with the staff of Student Life and the Career Management Center (CMC) on the student experience.  The role may also include activities that connect with additional stakeholders such as our boards, alumni, and external partners.  Candidates should have a record of experience that aligns with the expectations of the role and how the role is performed within the culture, resources, and capabilities of Fuqua.  Key personal attributes include exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both written and oral), experience working with and/or serving diverse populations, and a demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive communities. Expected experience includes work demonstrating the ability to be successful in the Director role at Fuqua, which will center around involvement in community engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives. While experience in higher education will be considered favorably, industry experience will be considered if experience includes relevant recruiting or diversity programming.  A MBA or another advanced degree is required.  The successful candidate will also need to have the ability to travel regularly and work evenings and weekends, as required.
