Bio

John Gleiser has been executive director of Corporacion Rey S.A. since 2001. His previous experience includes work at BankBoston and Citibank in Lima in corporate banking catering to the mining, telecom, and large capital machinery sales subsidiaries to the construction and mining industries.

John earned his MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 1990 and has actively participated in alumni interviewing in Lima since 1993. After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985, John worked as a consultant for Kurt Salmon Associates based out of Atlanta, engaging in more than 19 projects around the world to improve efficiency in apparel operations for large global brands. He currently runs the day-to-day operations of the family-owned zipper and notions manufacturer. It is a state-of-the-art and vertically integrated manufacturing plant which serves both domestic and international markets.

John is an active member of the Jewish community in Lima, participating and presiding over various of its organizations and leading its transformation into an active and modern participant in Peru’s religious and social community.

John is currently leading a new business division in 3-D printing to provide a service bureau unit for the manufacturing, medical, architectural, and prototyping sectors in Peru.
