Ou Wang

Mr. Ou Wang joined China Investment Corporation in March, 2015 and is currently the Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Investment Department, which is responsible for CIC’s overseas private equity fund and direct investment in non-commodity sectors including financials, industrials/manufacture, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, consumer/retail, TMT, credit opportunity, etc.

Prior to joining CIC, Mr. Wang had worked in China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for 13 years, during which time he has worked in CSRC’s Strategic Planning & Development Committee, Research Center, Intermediary Supervision Department and Financial Innovation Regulatory Department. Mr. Wang has served as the Deputy Directory-general in the Research Center, the Intermediary Supervision Department and the Financial Innovation Regulatory Department. Before joining CSRC in 2002, Mr. Wang has worked in Wall Street investment banks as well as Fortune 500 companies in US for more than 5 years.

Mr. Wang received his Bachelor of Science degree from Peking University in 1992, and MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, in 1998.
